Effigy Burnt in Protest Against Disrespect to Army and National Flag

Kota: Despite the bravery demonstrated by the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor, repeated disrespect towards the army and the national flag by BJP leaders has sparked strong protests. Congress workers from Nadipar area gathered at the Kunhari Chungi Naka intersection on Monday to register their dissent.

Former councillor Vikas Tanwar stated that effigies of the BJP minister, the Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and a Jaipur MLA were burnt in protest against their anti-national remarks and alleged disrespect to the Indian Army and the tricolour. The protestors blackened the posters of the three leaders and demanded their immediate dismissal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They also warned that any of the three visiting Kota in the future would face strong opposition from Congress workers.

The protest saw the presence of several Congress members, including Manish Sharma, councillor Balvinder Singh, councillor Mohan Saini, councillor Manish Gurjar, Prashant Saxena, Dharmendra Mewada, Kapil Chaturvedi, Ghanshyam Kumawat, Sajauddin Bhai, Haleem Bharti, Iqbal Bhai, Mohan Suwalka, Tony Saini, Puneet Kalwar, Nihal Singhvi, Dev Kumar, Jitendra Ramawat, Ramlal Mehra, Dharmraj Gochar, and Puneet Kalwar.
