New Delhi/New Delhi, 8 April. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has said that Rajasthan and Goa are the best in the country and abroad in terms of tourism. Both the states are the symbols of the historical heritage of the nation and the unity of the nation. He said that the beaches in Goa and the sand dunes in Rajasthan are the center of attraction for the people of the country and abroad.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani participated in the Rajasthan Day celebrations organized under Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat on the second day of his two-day visit to Goa. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Union Minister of State Shripad Naik were also present in this program.
A large number of expatriate Rajasthanis and Stanley people were present in the function. Cultural programs, folk dances and songs of Rajasthan were presented in the function. Devnani inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. He was welcomed on Goa soil by wearing a Rajasthani turban.
Devnani said that the cultural diversity of the states is the specialty of India's unity in diversity. Rajasthan's lifestyle is characterized by simplicity and hospitality and Goa's closeness to nature.
Recalling Rajasthan's valor, sacrifice, courage and rich cultural traditions, Devnani said that organizing Rajasthan Day in Goa is a matter of pride for the migrant Rajasthanis in Rajasthan and Goa. Rajasthan and Goa have cultural similarities. The diverse natural beauty of both the states is historic and proud. Goa is known for its beautiful beaches. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, special efforts have been made for infrastructure development, tourism promotion and energy conservation in Goa and Rajasthan. The forts of both the states are not only examples of architecture but they are also witnesses of struggle and history.
Devnani said that migrant Rajasthanis are bringing glory to the state in the country and abroad. He called upon the migrants to connect with their roots. In the ceremony, people from different fields were honored for their remarkable services.
