Youth Festival "Aarohan" Inaugurated, Young People Take a Pledge to Face Future Challenges

Udaipur: The two-day Youth Festival "Aarohan" was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium in the Mohanlal Sukhadia University campus, under the joint auspices of the Gayatri Parivar's youth wing, Divine India Youth Association (DIYA) Rajasthan, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, and UNICEF.

Lokesh Sharma, Provincial Coordinator of Divine India Youth Association (DIYA) Rajasthan, stated that the festival commenced at 9:30 AM. During the inaugural session, after the lighting of the lamp by the guests on the divine stage, a Ganesh Vandana and a musical yoga performance were presented. The guests also launched a souvenir, and prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions. Kirti and her team presented the theme song of "Aarohan."

**Attractive Competitions Draw Thousands of Youth:**
The event saw enthusiastic participation from hundreds of youth in various attractive competitions. During this, participants pledged to confront the challenges of the future. In the debate competition on the use of social media, directed by Aditya Deshmukh, judges Chirag and Manisha evaluated the participants. In the Ideathon competition, directed by Hemang Joshi, judges Varun Surana and Himmat Singh reviewed the presentations. In the Cultural Heritage Quiz, directed by Aditya Kumar, and the Poster Competition directed by Ankita Joshi, participants shared their original and creative thoughts and solutions on topics like holistic health, social media, family and social pressures, and mental stress. 

Earlier, the opening of the state-level Indian Culture Knowledge Examination, for district winners from Rajasthan, was conducted by Professor Dr. Baludan Barhat and Hemant Shrimali. Dr. Rajkumar, Amit Vashisht, and Shubham, under the guidance of Dr. Mukesh Meena, evaluated the project proposal and the Great Personalities Biography round.

In the Ideathon competition, Shoaib Byawarwala and Anurag Singh’s "Mitahaar" team emerged as the winners. In the Spirituality and Youth speech competition, Ramavatar and Tanmaya took the first prize, while Kantilal won in the Cultural Heritage Quiz, and Parikshit Singh won the Poster Competition. These winners will be awarded during the closing ceremony.

**Inaugural Address by Prominent Guests:**
The evening saw the participation of several dignitaries, including Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat, B.P. Sharma, President of Pacific University, Bhagwan Sahai from Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Mrs. Sunita Mishra, Vice-Chancellor of Sukhadia University, Shafqat Hussain, UNICEF Representative, and Professor Dr. Ipsit Pratap Singh from Dev Sanskriti University. The dignitaries performed a worship ceremony of Bharat Mata.

Dr. Mannalal Rawat, in his address, stated that intellectual growth is essential for a developed India. He emphasized that it is through youth resolutions that the nation will achieve its ultimate glory. He added that "Aarohan" would offer a new direction and perspective to the youth of Mewar and pave the way for societal reconstruction. He called for the active participation of youth in shaping the future of the country and stated that challenges are inherent in every field, especially in this technological age. The solution to these challenges lies in the hands of the youth.

Bhagwan Sahai from Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram shared that the entire world is looking towards India’s young generation with hope. He noted that India is the youngest country, and youth have a key role to play in shaping the nation's bright future.

Mrs. Sunita Mishra, Vice-Chancellor of Sukhadia University, stated that the responsibility of advancing the country lies with the new generation. She pointed out that a country with an energetic youth force can face any challenge and expressed her belief that India would soon become a developed nation with the contribution of its youth. She urged the youth to draw inspiration from Swami Vivekananda.

Professor Ipsit Singh from Dev Sanskriti University encouraged the youth not to fear challenges but to accept them with a healthy and positive mindset. He emphasized that hard work and determination are the keys to overcoming any difficult situation, and the youth of the country are fully capable of facing any adversity.

**Cultural and Performance Highlights:**
The event featured a dance-drama based on the glorious history of the Battle of Haldighati, a musical yoga performance, and the recognition of competition winners. The souvenir of the festival was also launched during the ceremony.

**Closing Ceremony on Wednesday with Dr. Chinmay Pandya:**
The festival will conclude on Wednesday at 5 PM with a wreath-laying ceremony at the statue of Swami Vivekananda by Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar, and the youth representative of the All World Gayatri Parivar. Special guests at the closing ceremony will include Minister Hemant Meena, Dr. Mannalal Rawat, Professor P.K. Kalra, Senior Director at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, and Lalchand Bisu, Founder of Kuku FM, who will guide the youth. Additionally, a Pragya song by Ishita Vishwakarma, the winner of the TV show Saregamapa, a skit on youth empowerment by Natyanash Group, and the release of the "Diyas Diary" will be part of the final session. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the state-level Indian Culture Knowledge Examination.
