Meeting of Film Stars and AAFT University Alumni Concludes

A grand event was recently held at the auditorium of *The Club* in Mumbai under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the dynamic Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts. The event brought together film stars and alumni of the university. Notable personalities such as Manmohan Shetty (Founder, Imagica and Adlabs), Shibashish Sarkar (Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment), Man Singh Deep (Senior Film Journalist and Producer), and Kalyani Singh (Director, Writer, and Producer), along with Bollywood and TV industry figures like actress Upasana Singh, Sameeksha Bhatnagar, Pankaj Parashar, Rajeev Chaudhary, and Narendra Gupta, attended the event, where alumni who had made significant contributions to the film and entertainment industry were honored.
The honored alumni included Faraz Haider (Film Director, *Mere Desh Ki Dharti*, *Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!*), Sohil Ramani (Project Head, *Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah*), Sai Abhishek P.R. (Head, Factual and Lifestyle Cluster, Warner Brothers Discovery), Rohit Sharma (EVP, Head of International Sales and Distribution, Foxstar Studios India), Shikhar Bhatnagar (Assistant Director, *The Miranda Brothers*, *Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘AAG’*), Anuj Gera (Assistant Director, *Million Dollar Arm*, *Jhalki*), Akaar Kaushik (Assistant Director, *Brahmastra*, *Padman*, *Happy New Year*), Akhil Singh (Head of Commercial, Production, ABP Studios), Sushank Verma (Film Producer, Co-Founder, *Once Upon a Time Media LLP*), and Sahar Qureshi (Dialogues and Screenplay Writer - *Singh is Bling*, *IB 71*, *Ishq Subhan Allah*).
Celebrating 31 years of creative excellence, the event organized by AAFT University provided a platform for alumni to reconnect, share experiences, and explore new collaboration opportunities while celebrating their journey. This memorable evening, filled with film stars, inspired current and future students to follow in the footsteps of AAFT alumni who have excelled in various fields of media, entertainment, and filmmaking.
