68th District-Level Basketball and Roller Skating Competitions Inaugurated
The 68th District-Level Basketball and Roller Skating Competitions (Under 17 and 19) were formally inaugurated with a grand opening ceremony at Central Public Senior Secondary School, New Bhupalpura.
The event was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Murli Chaubisa (Additional District Education Officer), Dr. Mahesh Paliwal (District Sports Officer), Mr. Laxman Salvi (Sports Officer, Education Department), Mr. Mahendra Singh Shekhawat (International Basketball Player), Mr. Daljeet Ji Mahawar (Retired Senior PTI), Mr. Jashwant Singh Jetawat (Renowned Basketball Coach), and Mr. Deepak Ji Gaur (Principal, Raj. U. M. V., Thoor). Also present were Mrs. Alka Sharma, Chairperson of CPS and Rockwoods, Mr. Anil Sharma, Director of Administration, and other management members.
The opening ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a welcome address from Joint Director Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shekhawat, Principal Mrs. Poonam Rathore, and Headmistress Mrs. Krishna Shaktawat.
In his address, Mr. Murli Chaubisa emphasized the importance of sports in life and encouraged participants to compete with full dedication.
The Chairperson, Mrs. Alka Sharma, officially declared the competitions open. All participants took an oath administered by Megh Jain. Teams from various schools participated in the opening ceremony.
The tournament officially commenced with a handshake and the ceremonial tossing of the ball by all the dignitaries.
