Udaipur: In response to the growing interest in Panchakarma therapy, the 33rd free five-day Panchakarma Therapy Camp was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Arogya Samiti Government Model Ayurveda Dispensary in Sindhi Bazaar, Udaipur. The camp was officially opened by Dr. Rajeev Bhatt, Additional Director of Ayurveda Department, Udaipur Division, and local councilor Dr. Shilpa Pamecha, who offered a garland to Lord Dhanvantari and lit the ceremonial lamp.
Dr. Rajeev Bhatt stated that patients would achieve complete health benefits through Ayurveda's Panchakarma therapy.
The camp in-charge and Senior Ayurveda Medical Officer, Vaidya Shobhalal Audichya, explained that due to changes in modern diets and lifestyles, lifestyle diseases have been on the rise, particularly among women and even children, causing joint pain, knee pain, cervical issues, sciatica, migraines, avascular necrosis, heel pain, insomnia, and hair problems. To address these issues, Ayurveda's Panchakarma therapy has been providing significant benefits to patients for the past three years.
The Panchakarma treatments offered at the camp include Kati Basti, Janu Basti, Greeva Basti, Nasya, Sarvanga Swedana, Sthanik Abhyanga, Sarvanga Abhyanga, Sthanik Swedana, Shashtishali Pindasweda, Shirodhara, Shirobasti, Dharasweda, and Basti Karma. A special Agnikarma Therapy Camp is scheduled for 31 August.
The medical team at the camp includes Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Dr. Jyoti Singh Deval, Dr. Sanjay Maheshwari, Dr. Nitin Seju, compounder Lakshmilal Ahari, nurse Indira Damor, compounder Kanchan Kumar Damor, Hemant Paliwal, nurse Indira Damor, Vandana Shaktawat, Anjana Barot, Bhagwati Lal Lodha, Garima Meena, and attendant Gajendra Ameta.
**Free Decoction Distribution Camp for Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue, Chikungunya, and Seasonal Diseases:**
In light of the changing weather and the rising threat of seasonal diseases, a special free decoction distribution camp was inaugurated on Tuesday under the direction of Senior Ayurveda Medical Officer Vaidya Shobhalal Audichya at the Government Model Ayurveda Dispensary in Sindhi Bazaar, Udaipur. Local residents and patients benefited from the camp, where free decoctions were distributed to prevent malaria, typhoid, dengue, chikungunya, and other seasonal diseases.
