"सपनों की उड़ान" Program Organized by Rotary Elite
Udaipur: On the occasion of International Women's Day, Rotary Club of Udaipur Elite organized a program on the theme "Sapno Ki Udaan" at Food Adda. The chief guest of the program, Additional Commissioner, Tribal Department, Mrs. Prabha Gautam, praised the social initiatives undertaken by the club.
Club President Vikas Shrimalli mentioned that the main reason for organizing this program was to encourage the recent project "Project Pari" (Pink Auto), carried out by their club. Today, women auto drivers in Udaipur are setting an example by independently running their households, a task traditionally associated with male-dominated professions.
It's worth noting that the club has recently donated five autos to empower women under the Project Pari. Women drivers named Hemlata, Khushboo, Suraj, Raju, and Chanda, who are now self-sufficiently operating in the city, supporting their families, were honored. The project's operational partner is the Aadhar Foundation, and its founder, Narayan Choudhary, was also present at the event.
On this occasion, Rotary District Governor Nirmal Kunawat congratulated the members of the Elite Club. The program included Mrs. Asha Kunawat, Deepak Sukhadia, RJ Kavya, RJ Mahiya, KS Automobile staff, and poet Manoj Gurjar. Poet Manoj Mawli, especially present at this event, added a poetic touch with his verses.
Members of the club, including Sadhna, Anita, Mukta, Khyati, Poonam, Shailu, Varsha, Sushila, and other female members actively participated in the program. Doctors provided health and hygiene tips to women, and a display was arranged to encourage the work of some talented women creating handmade products. Women auto drivers of Pari received gifts from KS Automobile and other organizations.
