Mumbai:* The Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Awards were presented on February 18 in Mumbai. In this television awards ceremony, Sanjay Bhatt, the promoter of Mask TV OTT platform, was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Television Award for the film "Hindutva," released on the Mask TV OTT platform. Renowned actress Deepika Chikhalia Topiwala, famous as Sita Ma in the Indian television industry, presented the award to Sanjay Bhatt at the event.
After receiving the award, Sanjay Bhatt expressed his gratitude and mentioned that the film received this award due to its excellent performance on the OTT platform. "Hindutva" has been performing exceptionally well since its release day, garnering a positive response from the audience. Notably, the film "Hindutva," produced under the banners of Tag Productions and Lord Shiva Communications, depicts the story of the new generation in India. Actor Ashish Sharma played the lead role as a college student participating in elections due to religious discrimination and unusual behavior happening in his college. Ashish Sharma showcased his acting skills brilliantly, portraying the character effectively. The film's lead actress, Sonarika Bhadoria, depicted the role of a lost Hindu girl who is later guided onto the right path after considerable efforts.
The film was written and directed by Karna Rajdan, who made a commendable effort to convey the story's message to every section of society. Every frame of the film confirms that the writer-director has left no stone unturned. The film's makers, Anju Bhatt and Chiranjivi Bhatt, received the award for their contributions. The film features renowned artists such as Anup Jalota, Deepika Chikhalia Topiwala, and Govind Namdev, who delivered outstanding performances.
The film's music, penned by Shweta Raj and embellished with music by Ravi Shankar, features vocals by Anup Jalota, Daler Mehndi, Divya Kumar, Master Salim, and Madhu Shree. The film is currently streaming on the Mask TV OTT platform in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
