14 RAJASTHAN NCC BATTALION KOTA ORGANISED ‘PUNEET SAGAR ABHIYAN’
Jaipur, In keeping with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 14 Rajasthan Bn Kota organised ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’ early this week in Kota to create awareness of Swach Bharat Abhiyan and cleanliness of river.
During ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’ 50 NCC cadets, 01 ANO and 08 PI staff of 14 Rajasthan Bn Kota undertook cleanliness drive at the banks of Chambal river to clean it from plastic & other waste material.
NCC cadets also took out ‘Rally’ & conducted a ‘Nukkad Natak’ to generate awareness amongst local population with banners and placards to increase the awareness amongst local population and future generations about importance of keeping the beaches and riverfronts clean. The cadets participated in drawing/painting competition and Placard making competition.
Col SGS Sekhar Commander, NCC Group Kota gave away the prizes to winners of Drawing/ Painting competition and Placard making competition. He also appreciated the efforts of cadets towards spreading the awareness on ‘Swachh Bharat’ and making the banks of Chambal Plastic free. Col Subhash Mahato, Adm Officer, 14 Rajasthan Bn NCC, and Lt (Dr) Sher Singh, Aljebra college were also present.
