Mishrimal M.S. and Roop Muni Rajat's Grand Birth Anniversary Celebration on August 30
Udaipur, The Jain Shravak Sangh in Shri Vardhman Sthanakvasi is organizing a grand celebration of the birth anniversary of Marudhar Kesar Mishrimal Ji M.S. and Roop Muni Rajat Maharaj on August 30 at the Panchayati Nohar in Sindhi Bazaar. The event is expected to witness the participation of 700 Shravaks from across the country. The chief guest of the program will be His Excellency the Governor of Assam, Shri Gulabchand Kataria. In contrast, distinguished guest Shri Lahar Singh Siroiya, a member of the Rajya Sabha, will also be present. The well-known filmmaker Shri C. Bokadia will grace the occasion. The event will be chaired by Shri Anandmal Chhallani from Chennai. The program will be concluded with a speech by Shri Ratn Mohanlal Gadwani.
Minister Roshan Lal Jain provided detailed information about the event and mentioned that on the concluding day of the seven-day event held in the presence of Sukun Muni Ji Maharaj, a eulogy meeting will be organized on August 30 to commemorate the birth anniversaries of Marudhar Kesar Mishrimal Ji Maharaj and Roop Muni Rajat Maharaj. On August 29, joint couples' prayer sessions and Bhakti Sandhya will be organized, while the last day of the program will host the main event, featuring a collective offering and praising of the Guru.
Earlier in the events, fasting and annadan (food distribution) were held on August 24, a large blood donation camp on August 25, a medical camp and distribution of support aids on August 26, a collective meal, and Navkar Jaap on August 27. On August 28, Namothunam Jaap for joint couples was organized.
In his introduction of Shri Mishrimal Ji Maharaj, Sukun Muni Ji Maharaj highlighted that his birth took place on Vikram Samvat 1948, Shravan Sood 14, Tuesday, August 18, 1891, in Pali, Marwar. His father's name was Shri Sheshmal Ji Solanki and mother's name was Smt. Kesar Kanwar. He belonged to the Osvaal Solanki Mehta community. His worldly name was Mishrimal. He embraced renunciation on Vikram Samvat 1969, Akshay Tritiya, April 20, 1912. His initiation took place on Vikram Samvat 1975, Akshay Tritiya, Monday, June 13, 1918, in Sojat City. His grandfathers were Guru Swami Ji Shrimanmal Ji Maharaj and Guru Swami Ji Buddhamal Ji Maharaj. His operational areas were mainly Pali, Jodhpur, and Ajmer districts in Rajasthan.
In his presentation about Roop Muni Rajat Ji Maharaj's life, Maharaj Shri mentioned that he was born on Vikram Samvat 1986, Shravan Sud Dashmi, Wednesday, August 14, 1929, in Nadol, Pali district. His father's name was Shri Motilal Ji Maharaj, and his mother's name was Smt. Moti Bai Chauhan. He hailed from the Goswami community. His worldly name was Roop Puri. He embraced renunciation on Vikram Samvat 1969, Akshay Tritiya, April 20, 1912. His initiation occurred on Vikram Samvat 1975, Akshay Tritiya, Monday, June 13, 1918, in Sojat City. His grandfathers were Guru Swami Ji Shrimanmal Ji Maharaj and Guru Swami Ji Buddhamal Ji Maharaj. His operational areas were mainly Pali, Jodhpur, and Ajmer districts in Rajasthan.
The program is set to conclude with a Bhakti Sandhya on Tuesday evening. The event will feature renowned singer Lavesh Burad from Indore and his team. The grand finale will take place on Wednesday.
