Anuvrat Movement Spreads: Ram Katha Celebrations

Ram Katha of 9 days will be conducted from the 27th day. Sadhvi Dr Vishweshwari Devi will deliver the recitation of the Ram Katha from the sacred mouth of Shri Ram Kripadham, located in Haridwar.

The Dharmik Satsang Committee will organize the event which will take place at Pushpavatika, outside Ambapol, in Udaipur. The Katha will commence on the 27th of July and conclude on the 4th of August. The Katha sessions will be held daily from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Chairman Anil Kumar Sharma of the committee announced that on the 27th of July, the Kalash Yatra will start from Ambamata Temple at 1 PM. Women adorned in red sarees will carry the Kalash on their heads. Each day, the Katha will cover different episodes related to Lord Ram. The program includes the Vadannā and Bharadwaj episode on the first day, the Shiv-Sati episode on the 28th, the Shiv-Parvati wedding and Shri Ram's birth celebration on the 29th, the Shri Ram's childhood tales, the bow, the yagna, and Sita's swayamvar on the 30th, the conversation with Shri Parashuram and the weddings of Shri Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughan on the 31st, the meeting of Shri Hanuman and Sundarkand on the 3rd, and the grand finale with Shri Ram's coronation and havan puja on the 4th of August.

For the convenience of the Katha attendees, a waterproof dome has been constructed at the Katha site, named "Chitrakootdham."

The organizing committee includes Sushila Sharma, Dinesh Paneri, Shivshankar Sanadhya, Triloknath Sanadhya, Vinod Pandey, Rajkumar Sharma, Manju Gaur, Gajendra Purohit, Renu Sanadhya, Preetam Sanadhya, Neeraj Sanadhya, Gagan Sanadhya, Manisha Sanadhya, Arpita Sharma, Pradeep Sharma, Meenakshi Sharma, Sumita Sharma, among others.

Dr Vishweshwari Devi, a revered personality, actively creates a culture of refined motherhood and contributes to the preservation of cows. She is committed to constructing large cow shelters nationwide and raising awareness about cow conservation. Additionally, she is engaged in running a cow shelter in the village of Veerado, Charla, Sujangarh Tehsil, Churu district, where she cares for around 300 elderly and sick cows.
