Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) and National Innovation Foundation-India (NIF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) and National Innovation Foundation-India (NIF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate. NIF is an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It is dedicated to collaborating. NIF. The primary goal of NIF is to expand the policy and institutional framework for grassroots technological innovators and contribute to the development of a creative and knowledge-based society in India.

According to Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnatak, the Vice-Chancellor of MPUAT, this MoU signifies the agreement between the two institutions to jointly develop an inclusive innovation ecosystem through academic and research cooperation. The collaboration aims to provide opportunities for students and faculty members of MPUAT to work on new and valuable projects that can benefit society. These projects will involve activities such as value addition and validation. The faculty members of MPUAT will provide support and guidance to transform the innovative ideas of students into marketable solutions at the local level. Additionally, the partnership will facilitate research work, product validation, and the development of technologies to address societal needs at the grassroots level within NIF.

The signing ceremony of the MoU was attended by Dr Arvind C. Ranade, Director of NIF, and Mr Sudhanshu Singh, Registrar of MPUAT. Dr Ajeet Kumar Karnataka, Dr Arvind C.
