CHINKARA GOLF CUP ORGANISED BY HQ 61 SUB AREA AT AEPTA JAIPUR
Jaipur, Chinkara Golf Cup was organised at Army Environmental Park and Training Area (AEPTA), Jaipur under the aegis of HQ 61 Sub Area from 13-14 May 2023.
More than 150 players participated in the championship over two days, which was held for various categories to include open men, women, children as well as for the veteran golfers.
DIG Pushpendra Singh of BSF with a gross score of 77 secured the top spot to win the Chinkara Golf Cup 2023. Col SVS Rana emerged the winner in 0 -10 handicap category whereas Brig DV Singh (Retd) won in 11-18 handicap category. Mrs. Manisha Singh was the winner of Ladies category while Mrs. Indu Singh won the ladies putting competition. Amongst the veterans, Capt KS Sekhon (Retd) was the winner of above 75 Years age category, Col Rajender Singh Rathore was the winner of 65-75 Year age category & Master Krish Rulania emerged winner in Children category.
The Tournament culminated with a prize distribution ceremony wherein Lt Gen BS Raju GOC-in-C South Western Comd & Mrs. Shakunthala Raju, Regional President AWWA Sapta Shakti Command gave away the prizes to the winners. Speaking at the occasion, GOC HQ 61 Sub Area Maj Gen Rai Singh Godara, complimented all the players for their competitive spirit and the organisers & ground staff for smooth conduct of the Championship.
