Yoga Festival from 1st to 3rd April at MB College Ground, Udaipur

 

Udaipur Under the joint aegis of Heartfulness Institute Shri Ramchandra Mission and Ministry of Culture, Yoga Festival is being celebrated in Udaipur from 1st to 3rd April with the motto of Har Dil Dhyan-Har Din Dhyan. Preparations are on in full swing for this mega-level event to be held at MB College Ground of Mohanlal Sukhadia University.

Regarding the wide publicity of the event, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. at the guest house of Mohanlal Sukhadia University on Monday. Press conference was organized under the chairmanship of IV Trivedi. On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Trivedi told this event in the interest of the university and said that keeping in mind the mental, physical and spiritual development of the students, the university has ensured participation in this programme. For this, he called upon all the students along with all the faculty members and faculty staff to ensure their participation in this event.

He also said that in the coming time, a special course on meditation will be conducted in the university, which will be a new dimension for this university and will benefit the students here a lot. He thanked Heartfulness Institute for selecting the university for this large-scale event.

Giving detailed information about the three-day program, Yoga Festival Coordinator RAS Mukesh Kumar said that in the present era, this special event is being organized for a happy, healthy and stress-free life, through which free asanas, pranayama, mudra, polarity, brighter, etc. will be taught by various experts. Meditation will be done along with Minds Yogic Pranahuti. He told that while meditation brings spiritual and mental peace, a person remains physically healthy and his concentration and self-confidence increase along with diabetes, high blood pressure and mental stress management.

He told that meditation is creating a balance of heart and mind and the person does all his work happily without stress. He said that there is a great need of meditation and yoga in today's busy world. He has called upon the general public that they can take health benefits by ensuring maximum participation in this type of event.

Yoga Coordinator Mukesh Kumar told that the biggest feature of this Yoga Festival is that Yoga Pranayama and Mudra will be practiced for the prevention of diseases from which the common man is suffering the most. On the first day diabetes, on the second day hyper tension and on the third day yoga exercises will be done explaining the measures to prevent cardiac related diseases.

Retired Prof. Dr. KK Saxena and Dr. Rakesh Dashora of IIT Kanpur expressed their views on this occasion. Zonal Coordinator Madhu Mehta, MLSU Registrar CR Dewasi were present on the occasion.
