ROUND CHAIR MEGA DISCUSSION ON CREATIVITY AND PERSONALITY OF SURYAMAL MISHRAN

Under the Aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) , In Connection to Countrywide National Reading Month Celebration Series and Swami Vivekananda death anniversary, Government Divisional Public library Kota organised the Panel Discussion on the theme “Mahakavi Suryamal Mishran – Personality and Creativity” in Dr. S. R. Ranganathan Conventional Hall, Government Divisional Public Library, Kota on dated 4th July 2022 .

            In this panel discussion, as the principal discussant, Dr Onkar Nath Chaturved Renowned litterateur and Poet, Dr R.K.Upadhyay Registrar University of Kota, Dr Arvind Saxena (Historian and Retired Vice Principal College Education ) , Dr H.C. Jain (Historian and Retired Principal College Education ), Dr Anita Verma (Associate Professor Hindi Government Art College Kota, Dr Vivek Mishra Associate Professor Hindi Government Art College Kota, Ramesh Singh Chauhan State President World Environment Conservation Mission), Chandra Shekhar Singh , Registered Tourist Guide   Rajasthan Tourism Dr Ghanashyam Upaadhyay and Dr Vivek Chaturvedi Ayush Medical officer.

Mega Discussion is moderated by Principal Moderator Dr. Ekta Dhariwal President Aksham Kalyan Sansthan and Moderator Dr. Deepak Kumar Shrivastava INELI South Asia Mentor and Divisional Librarian Government Divisional Public Library Kota.

Program is started with Lighting the Lamp Ceremony and Guest Welcome. In this great churning and contemplation, senior litterateur Dr. Omkar Nath Chaturvedi said that I personally felt the surroundings by visiting Suryamal Mishran’s mansion and organized a national seminar on his personality and creativity, in which national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was present. Stressed on the need of generation to take inspiration from these great men and understand their philosophy, to understand Suryamal Meeshan which was lit by me. The coming generations should take that light in their hands, I am very happy that the initiative taken by Dr. Ekta Dhariwal ji to take this work forward will be fruitful now and in this way we all together gave the light of knowledge. There is a need to burn it so that this journey of knowledge continues continuously.

Dr. Anita Verma, keeping Suryamal Mishran’s work Veer Satsai in the center, told that every work is a living document of its period, folk behavior, philosophy, contemplation; everything is depicted in Veer Sat Sai.

Dr. Vivek Mishra said that - Suryamal Meeshan is such a poet of Rishi tradition who is standing at the junction of medieval and modern times, the poem of national discourse, inspired by modern consciousness, is the basic thinking base of Mishran’s Veer Satsai. Dreamed of emancipation of the nation from the central spirit of freedom, independence and valor.

Moderator Dr. Ekta Dhariwal said that when we work on Suryamal Meeshan, we see the echoes of history, literature and philosophy and folk culture tinkling together and this is such a vast work that its echo should be heard by the whole world. There is a need to bring the literature and culture of Rajasthan on the global psyche, in this direction the researchers of the Divisional Library should all work together.

Dr. Hukam Chand Jain said that - History builds a knowledgeable society with the use of facts and truth. Dr. Arvind Saxena said that - Suryamal Meeshan was the personality of born poet talent, from where history was indicating to take society in advance direction in social policy, politics and moral rules as well as creative legislation of poetry.

Dr RK Upadhyay said that - Suryamal Meeshan is our heritage and the new generation needs to save it. Dr. Ghanshyam Upadhyay gave more on finding and translating the manuscripts written by Suryamal Meeshan. Chandra Kshekhar Singh said that in order to understand Rajasthan and Bundi, it is necessary to see the birthplace of Suryamal Meeshan, even today the sound of bravery continues to reverberate from there.

Dr. Deepak Kumar Shrivastava while concluding the session said that in order to understand Suryamal Mishran’s, we need to assess his creation Bhoomi, Jeevan Bhumi and the extent of the time in which he was. And even today, we are giving direction to such a sage, but having a discussion with us is definitely a proud achievement.
