Udaipur. Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart-2018 is being organized in the Birla Auditorium of Jaipur by the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan for promoting domestic tourism and a new direction in the country. In this conclave, 1500 participants from across the country will participate.
FHTR's general secretary Jan Prakash told the Road Show organized in Hotel Lekand Udaipur to provide information about Travel Mart. The motive of Mart was to increase the number of domestic and international tourists &revamp the tourism sector so that number of tourist may attract towards domestic tourism. He informed that State Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje likely to participate in the Mart. In this conclave, more than 1500 participants of 200 domestic tour operators, 29 states, and 7 Union Territories will participate in the Mart.
He added that in the year 2017 the number of tourists in the state was 4.6 crores, measures are to be taken to reach to 5 crores by 2020. This Mart includes travel agents, tour operators, hotels, spa, restaurant owners, health care, investors, financial institutions, tourism associate organizations, events and wedding planners, state government, central government, Indian Railways, National and State Airlines, National and Regional National Highways Organization of the main states, including the media, will participate.
He further added that Many stalls will be installed in the market so that the buyer and the seller can take advantage of them.
Earlier, FHRT President Bhim Singh said that this Mart will able to set a milestone in the tourism sector of the state. Deputy Director of Tourism Sunita Saroch, Tourism Deputy Director Randhir Vikram Singh, Vice President Khalil Khan, Sunil Gupta, senior officials of FHRT and many office bearers from Jaipur were present during the roadshow. Along with many officials of the Hotel Association, Hotel owner, Tours Operators, General Manager of Rajasthan Tours Farooq Qureshi, had shown their presence
