Udaipur, Radisson Udaipur, the first upscale hotel in Udaipur recently hosted a book launch function. The book –Festive Offerings to the Gods , has been authored by Rama Shankar and published by Shubhi publications. The book includes recipes of variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food offered to Gods in different regions of India. These are also accompanied with interesting anecdotes of the significance attached to these offerings. The foreword of the book is by the renowned culinary historian Dr. Ashish Chopra.
The Book was release by and orphan girl child with a message of spreading divine love through food and the importance of girl child in our society.

The hotel has always been contributing towards social initiatives for noble causes. In the past Radisson Udaipur organised fun events and meals for the underprivileged of the society. Treading further on this path, as a gesture of compassion the hotel came up with this idea of getting the book released by an orphan girl child.
