###JRNU: Achieves Second Position in Rajasthan

In the 2024 ranking of deemed universities by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF), Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has secured the second position in Rajasthan and 37th at the national level. This achievement reaffirms the institution's commitment to excellence. The IIRF's 2024 ranking included 1161 universities across various categories such as central, state, private, and deemed universities.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Colonel S.S. Sarangdevot emphasized that this notable ranking highlights the Vidyapeeth's dedication to providing high-quality education, promoting innovative research, and fostering overall development among its students. He credited the hard work, dedication, and excellence of the faculty members, students, and administrative staff for this achievement. The ranking showcases the institution's unwavering commitment to academic and research excellence and its societal responsibilities. The Vidyapeeth aims to continue striving for greater heights and making significant contributions to society.

Established in 1937, the institution has consistently set milestones since its inception. The university boasts state-of-the-art facilities, libraries, laboratories, and other resources that enrich the teaching and research experience. Registrar Dr. Tarun Shrimali stated that this achievement reflects the university's past efforts and serves as a promise for the future. The university is also rapidly progressing towards achieving the highest grade from NAAC.

Dr. Chandresh Kumar Chhatlani, the nodal officer for ranking activities, explained that the ranking was based on seven parameters, focusing on the Indian social, economic, and industrial landscape. These parameters include Teaching, Learning Resources and Pedagogy, Research, Industry Income and Integration, Placement Performance, Placement Strategy and Support, Future Orientation, External Perception, and International Outlook. In the previous ranking, the Vidyapeeth was placed 48th nationally, and moving up to the 37th position this year is a testament to the university's growing quality.

According to IIRF, Vidyapeeth and other major universities are the primary sources of higher education in India, offering students the opportunity to study their desired courses and specializations across various academic programs while ensuring their holistic development.

Previously, in the Educational Performance Statistics in India 2024 ranking, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth was ranked 32nd nationally. In the IIRF 2023 ranking, it was first in the state and second in the Impact ranking in Rajasthan. The university also secured the top position in Udaipur in a survey conducted by Uni Rank.
