Jaipur, The South Western Command of the Indian Army celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and dedication. On this occasion, the Command reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to holistic well-being, mental clarity, and harmony with nature.
A special yoga session was conducted at the Jaipur Military Station, witnessing participation from over 450 soldiers and their family members. The event was led by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of South Western Command, and Mrs. Barinder Jeet Kaur, Regional AWWA President.
Under the leadership of Lt. Gen. Manjinder Singh, week-long yoga-related activities were organized across all stations of Sapta Shakti Command. These initiatives highlighted that yoga is not merely an exercise but a lifestyle rooted in strength, balance, and resolve.
The Command also reflected on the themes of “Green Yoga” and “A Decade of International Yoga Day”, emphasizing the transformative power of yoga in fostering inner strength, emotional balance, and harmony between humanity and nature.
A noteworthy feature of the celebration was the active participation of all ranks and families across diverse geographical locations, reinforcing the belief that yoga is a powerful tool for the overall well-being of both human life and the environment.
