Udaipur, June 8, 2025 — The Lake City June Open Chess Tournament 2025, organized by CIL International School of Chess with technical support from Castle Mind Chess Academy, concluded successfully at A-One Senior Secondary School, Udaipur.
Tournament Secretary and coach Nilesh Kumawat informed that the competition was divided into two groups — Group A (Under-5, 7, 9, 11) and Group B (Under-13, 15, 17, 19 & Seniors). The top 10 players in each category were awarded trophies and cash prizes.
The tournament saw participation from players of Udaipur, Bhilwara, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajsamand. At the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed by Dr. Ravi Changwal (Director of the host school), Vikas Sahu, Nilesh Kumawat, Manish Chandalia, Kushal Patel, Bhavesh Pandiyar, Siddharth Jain, Kapil Sahu, Hardik Dak, and Diya Doshi.
In the overall championship,
Bhavyansh Sharma was declared the Group A Champion, and
Dakshita Kumawat emerged as the Group B Champion.
Both received ₹1600 in cash along with grand trophies.
