DG Resettlement Visits Job Fair at Jaipur on 25 October 2024

Major General SBK Singh, Director General of Resettlement, Ministry of Defence, is attending the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Job Fair at Jaipur today.  

The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), under the Department of ESM Welfare, is organizing an Employment Seminar/Job Fair at Gandiv Stadium, near Vijay Dwar, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur. The event aims to assist ESM in their re-employment and resettlement process, connecting job seekers with potential employers. Registration for all ESM is open at the venue from 7 AM to 10 AM.  

Lieutenant General HS Vandra, Chief of Staff, HQ South Western Command, is the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Major General RS Godara, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 61 Sub Area, Brigadier RS Chatha, Additional Director General, DRZ (W), Brigadier DS Basera, Secretary of the Kendriya Sainik Board, and several corporate guests are also in attendance.  

To register, ESM should bring their ESM identity card and five copies of their latest CV or bio-data with a photograph. Job seekers will have access to numerous job opportunities and a hassle-free recruitment process at no cost. Employers will gain free access to the veterans' talent pool, with various corporates conducting interviews and screening for positions ranging from Senior Supervisors and Mid/Senior-level Managers to Strategic Planners and Project Directors.  

The previous Job Fair in Jaipur took place on 31 March 2023, attracting 24 corporates and nearly 1200 ESM, with approximately 1050 vacancies available.
