Paras Health Udaipur Organises Mass Yoga Session on International Yoga Day

Udaipur,  Paras Health Udaipur celebrated International Yoga Day by organising a large-scale yoga session at its hospital premises, drawing participation from over 100 individuals, including doctors, nurses, patients, hospital staff, and members of the local community. The event aimed to highlight the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for physical and mental well-being.

The session took place in the open-air campus of the hospital and was conducted by trained yoga instructors. Participants were guided through simple yoga postures and breathing techniques designed to improve flexibility, calm the mind, and enhance emotional well-being. The central message of the event was, "A healthy mind resides in a healthy body", underscoring the hospital’s belief in promoting holistic health through accessible daily practices.

Dr. Prasun Kumar, Facility Director at Paras Health Udaipur, remarked, “At Paras Health Udaipur, our mission goes beyond curing illness—we aim to keep people healthy in the long run. Yoga is a simple yet effective way to keep both body and mind in balance. We've seen its benefits for recovering patients as well as for maintaining daily wellness. This session was a way to show our staff, patients, and the wider community how small changes can lead to significant improvements in health.”

The session also emphasized yoga’s broader benefits, including stress reduction, heart health, improved immunity, and better focus and mood.
