The prestigious ScooNews Teacher Warriors Awards will be presented on Day 1 of the Fest. ScooNews has introduced the Jewels of India Awards from this edition of the Fest. This Award celebrates a handful of educators from amongst thousands who become a beacon of inspiration for others. The Fest promises to be a sensory treat for all visitors as they will spend 2 days in the splendid City Palace overlooking the iconic lake Pichola. The glittering awards ceremonies for Teacher Warriors and Jewels of India promise to be truly memorable as they will be held at the world renowned Jagmandir Palace right in the middle of Lake Pichola.
The Fest is positioned as ‘India’s largest education brainstorm’ and isdesigned to facilitatesharing of ideas, best practices and encourages networking to diffuse the latest developments amongst all attendees. While planning the town, special emphasis had been given to educational institutions and as a result there are over 350 easily accessible educational institutions today. Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation in which I serve as a Trustee has two schools in its fold; one of them in the City Palace itself. So, when a conference of this magnitude came around, it was but natural that we extend our wholehearted support to this unique endeavor to make India a Global Education Powerhouse and take the first step towards establishing Udaipur at the center of this powerhouse.
