The Ashwini Bazaar Traders’ Association hosted the vibrant event “Musicavali-2024” this Diwali season, showcasing the talents of 10 members from the well-known cultural group, Sur Mandali. These talented singers mesmerized the crowd with melodious and energetic performances at Delhi Gate, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey.
Mukesh Madhwani, the founder of Sur Mandali, shared that the association's president, Jayesh Champawat, extended an invitation to Sur Mandali’s vocalists to entertain the public with an open-stage musical show at Delhi Gate, the heart of the city. Under the guidance of Kailash Kaivalya, the singers practiced extensively to deliver a three-hour show titled “Musicavali-2024 ~ A Melodious Evening Dedicated to Diwali.” Their performances captivated the audience, proving that determination makes anything possible, as the crowd was left dancing and immersed in the music.
Program Director Kaustubh noted that the Ashwini Bazaar Traders’ Association approached Madhwani to provide an encouraging platform for the singers. Despite the festive hustle and family responsibilities, these artists dedicated themselves to delivering this golden opportunity as a career stepping stone, providing exceptional entertainment to the public.
The event featured karaoke renditions of classic and modern Bollywood songs performed by Kailash Kaivalya, Veenu Vaishnav, Chandraprakash Gandharva, Manisha Dave, Chetna Jain, Gopal Gothwal, Ishwar Jain “Kaustubh,” Nikhil Maheshwari, Pushkar Gaur, and Yogesh Upadhyay. To keep the atmosphere lively, entertaining trivia questions were asked throughout the event, and winners were awarded prizes.
In addition to the musical performances, Champawat and Secretary Aneesh honored police officers and personnel for their dedicated service and presented mementos and shawls to Ashwini Bazaar traders for their impressive Diwali decorations.
