"Love All" Movie Review: K.K. Menon's film, "Love All," is a sports drama set on the badminton court, but it delves deeper into the emotional aspects of family and the father-son relationship. It also raises pertinent questions about politics in sports. "Love All" is a watchable film that leaves a lasting impact.

"Love All" Movie Review: The film tackles the issue of how those who cannot perform on the sports field often become influential figures in sports organizations, from wrestling to cricket. Many times, their personal interests clash with the players' ambitions. "Love All" explores this theme but with an emotional twist. At its core, it revolves around badminton, the rapidly rising sport in the country.

The story follows Siddharth Sharma (K.K. Menon), a former badminton champion whose bright future in the sport was snatched away by those manipulating the game. Siddharth now leads an ordinary life working for the railways and has a small family. He is adamant that his son should not enter the world of sports. However, fate has other plans, and his son Aditya (Ark Jain) starts playing badminton. This revelation sets the stage for a remarkable transformation in Siddharth's life.

Diverse Personalities:

After a transfer to Bhopal, Siddharth's son Aditya gets admitted to school where he discovers his passion for badminton. Siddharth is unaware of this, but his wife Jaya (Shriswara Dubey) and Siddharth's childhood friend Vijoo (Sumit Aroda) support Aditya's aspirations. Bhopal hosts the Sub-Junior National Badminton Championship, and Siddharth eventually learns about Aditya's involvement in the sport. From this point, the narrative takes a significant turn. Writer-director Sudhanshu Sharma has crafted "Love All" with finesse, blending sports with emotion beautifully.

Questioning the Essence of Life:

Sports biopics have recently become a common sight, but "Love All" stands out. It goes beyond the game, questioning the depth of emotions that connect players to their sport. It's not just about playing; it's about living and dying for one's passion. Siddharth believes that the opponent on the court is just another player, not an enemy. This is a sentiment that those indulging in politics and manipulating players for personal gain may never comprehend.

Casting and Acting:

"Love All" excels in both casting and acting. K.K. Menon's strength lies in making every frame count, even if he doesn't appear in all of them. His presence is impactful whenever he is on screen. Shriswara Dubey is captivating in her role as Siddharth's wife and mother. Swastika Mukherjee, despite a smaller role as Siddharth's former flame, leaves a mark. Ark Jain, playing the son and badminton player, impresses in both roles.

A Family Affair:

"Love All" is indeed a family sports drama. Sudhanshu Sharma brilliantly balances sports with emotions. Some moments are bound to leave your eyes moist. You can watch this film with your family, even if you aren't a sports enthusiast. It's not necessary to play the game to feel its impact. Such films are rare; if "Love All" is screening in your city, don't miss it. Otherwise, keep an eye out for its OTT release.
