Alive demonstration of spraying Nano Urea

Udaipur, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology organized a live demonstration of spraying Nano Urea by drone in the intelligent village Madar.

With the help of drone technology, we can easily spray pesticides, weedicides, and fertilizers on the crops, which on the one hand, saves time and labor, and on the other hand, water is also saved. You observed the live demonstration of nano urea spraying by drone on the wheat demonstration in the farmer's fields. On this occasion, he praised the innovations being adopted by the farmers in the smart village and called upon them to make maximum use of the innovations on their farms.

On this occasion, Dr. RA Kaushik, Director, Directorate of Extension Education, Udaipur, while welcoming the guests, said that in the selected smart villages, new techniques in agriculture are being demonstrated. He advised adopting the advanced technology of fruits and vegetables to increase farmers' income.

On this occasion, Dr. PK Singh, Dean, CTAE, said that in collaboration with IIFL Foundation Mumbai and Blue in Infinity Labs, a 25 kg drone has been given to the university for research and educational purposes. This has been used for the first time on wheat crops. On this occasion, RS Rathore, Coordinator of Smart Village, said that he was informed about the work done by the university in the last year and various activities. Demonstrations of improved varieties of wheat and enhanced types of carrots, spinach, and onions are on.

Mr. Praveen Lamba, Regional Officer, IFFCO Udaipur, explained the importance of Nano Urea and said that Nano Urea mixed with 2 to 4 ml per liter could be used by spraying after 35-40 days from the sowing of the crop. A 500 ml bottle of Nano Urea is available at the cooperative society for ₹ 225, sufficient for spraying in a one-acre area. Its utilization efficiency is 80-85%. And with its use, a 5-8 percent increase in yield and quality has been found.

Dr. Vikramaditya Dave and his team successfully demonstrated the drone. Earlier, Dr. Gayatri Tiwari explained the importance of prod education and said that it is needed among adult citizens today. On this occasion, she distributed agricultural literature. On this occasion, BK Sharma, Dean, Fisheries College; Dr. Latika Vyas, Directorate of Extension Education; Mr. Daulat Singh Rathore IFFCO Kisan, Fertilizer Dealer Trainees, and 125 farmers, and farmer women participated.
