Renowned Journalist S.K. De wins Best Journalist Award at Bollywood Iconic Award 2022

The renowned journalist, Voice Over Artist, Editor and film critic, Sandip Kumar De better known as S. K. De was honored with the prestigious Bollywood Iconic Award recently in Mumbai. The keenly awaited Bollywood Iconic Award 2022 was organized by Krishna Chouhan Foundation (KCF) at a glittering evening ceremony held at the Mayor's Hall, Andheri West. This coveted award is an initiative to recognize the outstanding contribution of various people, primarily in the field of Indian movie industry or related to it and even to bring to limelight the individuals or organisations working selflessly towards social upliftment. Hence, this award will serve as a motivation for the peerless crusaders of our motherland.  

S. K. De started his journey as a Journalist, Film Critic and Editor several years back and he has been associated with various newspapers, magazines and throughout his entire career, he has won several accolades across India.Then after creating his mark in the print media industry, he moved on to the digital media industry bandwagon.  S. K. De has been known for his unparalleled presence on various digital platforms including Rajshri Media's Bollywood Now and Bollywood Masala channels as Editor-in-Chief, Chief Correspondent, Voice Over Artist & Film Critic. 

As a Film Critic and Editor-Chief, S. K. De has been responsible for the phenomenal success of various leading digital platforms across diverse segments. S. K. De was earlier ranked amongst the Top Branding experts worldwide too according to an independent survey. He has even lent his voice for numerous projects related to Bollywood, Hollywood  and the corporate world.S. K. De has been felicitated with numerous awards as a Journalist, V.O. The film industry, political and corporate entities have welcomed with open arms the initiatives undertaken by film director, social activist and philanthropist Dr.Krishna Chouhan and in recent times he has been crowned as the undisputed King of Awards. He is the Founder of the Krishna Chouhan Foundation also known as KCF.Dr. Krishna Chouhan has contributed as a social worker, he has helped the poor and as a creative person, he made his presence felt in the form of a film director and organizer of award functions.

The keenly awaited third Bollywood Iconic Awards event commenced with Ganpati aarti followed by the auspicious lighting of the lamp by BJP MP Dr. Sunil Baliram Gaikwad, ACP Bajirao Mahajan, actor-singer Arun Bakshi and Dr.Krishna Chouhan besides others. The renowned actor singer Arun Bakshi galvanized everyone with his stupendous singing. The ace stand-up comedian and actor, Sunil Pal tickled the funny bone but for a change, he sang as well. Ehsaan Qureshi's stellar performance was the icing on the cake and his wife Zeenat Qureshi entertained everyone with her inimitable Shayari.Anu Malik was elated about the iconic experience and all singers including him paid tribute to India's greatest music legend ever Late Lata Mangeshkar.

Anu Malik, Deepa Narayan Jha, Arun Bakshi, Ali Khan, Anil Nagrath, Lyricist Sudhakar Sharma, K.K. Goswami, Rajkumar Kanojia, Shyamlal (of Bhaiya Ji Smile fame of Dabangg), singer Dinesh Rahaate, lyricist Zeenat Qureshi, dancer Shirin Farid, producer Mukesh Gupta and Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Outdoor Media were awarded their respective trophies. The singer of the song Jalebi Bai, Ritu Pathak was also honored with the Bollywood Iconic Award and Ritu Pathak paid homage to Lata Mangeshkar with her soulful rendition and even sang the song which catapulted her to overnight fame( on public request ).

Ganesh, R Rajpal Publicity Designer, dancer Seema Suryavanshi, Social Worker Sundari Thakur, Ayurvedacharya Prakash Tata, Advocate Amit Upadhyay, Singer DC Madana, Singer Mangesh, Basant Bhandari were also honored at the Bollywood Iconic Awards 2022 ceremony. There were various other distinguished  Journalists, Cameramen, and Editors who were felicitated with the Bollywood Iconic Award 2022 associated with print and digital media. including Santosh Sahu, Kailash Masoom, press photographer BK Tambe and Rajesh K among others. In this award ceremony, tribute was paid to the famous singer Late Swara Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. On this occasion, music composer Anu Malik went back memory lane regarding his association with Lata and expressed grief of having lost his second mother. 

All the awardees praised Dr. Krishna Chouhan and saluted his indomitable spirit for organizing the award function for three consecutive years. Dr. Krishna Chouhan organizes many awards shows under his foundation Krishna Chauhan Foundation. Bollywood Legend Award, Bollywood Iconic Award, and Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award are being organized under KCF since 2019. Apart from this, social service, food distribution, and distribution of Bhagavad Gita are done by KCF.
