Education of community science is important for self-employment - Prof. Rathore

Udaipur | A one-day webinar organized by the College of Communities and Behavioral Sciences on the subject of Science Linkages and Way Forward. The chief guest of the webinar, Prof. Narendra Singh Rathore Vice-Chancellor Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, said that an interdisciplinary approach is needed to restore community science. Through this subject, students are trained for family, community, and social welfare. This subject provides employment-oriented and entrepreneurial education to the students, which is very important today. This webinar will help in creating community science national identity. The welcome address was by Dr. Ritu Singhvi, the head of the college. Keynote speaker of the webinar Prof. Sharada Devi, former dean, College of Home Science, Hyderabad, Prof. Neelam Grewal, Member Punjab Public Service Commission, Prof. Rita Raghuvanshi, former dean, Home Science College, Pantnagar, Prof. Simarani was the nodal officer ABIC, University of Agriculture, Hisar. Organizing Secretary of the program, Prof. Dhriti Solanki gave a detailed description of the technical session along with the primary objective of the webinar. Program Coordinator Prof. Neeta Lodha, Prof. Rajashree Upadhyay, Prof. Suman Oudichya, and Dr. Vikramaditya Dave were. Conduct of program and thanksgiving Prof. Rajshri Upadhyay did.
