Annual Function "Harmony" Concludes at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic

Udaipur– The annual function "Harmony" was successfully organized at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic, focusing on the theme of technology that ensures minimal exploitation of natural resources for maximum sustainable benefit.

Dr. Gauri Joshi, senior expert member of the National Biodiversity Authority, emphasized that reducing pressure on biodiversity is only possible through eco-sensitive technologies. She stated, “In every aspect of life, we must strive to minimize our carbon footprint.”

The Chief Guest, noted industrialist, educationist, and Chairman of Vidya Bhawan, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tayalia, underlined that the true goal of technical education should be to foster social and economic development while ensuring environmental protection.

Special Guest Anurag Saxena, Director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra, highlighted the technological excellence during the reign of Maharana Pratap. He spoke about innovations in agriculture, irrigation techniques, town planning, water management, and filtration systems that were prevalent during that era.

In his welcome address, Principal Dr. Anil Mehta reflected on Vidya Bhawan’s contribution to biodiversity conservation and sustainable education.

Several prominent personalities including Vice Chairman Hansraj Chaudhary, educationist Pushpa Sharma, Prof. Arun Chaturvedi, Prof. Anil Kothari, Harish Mathur, Naveen Vyas, Revati Raman Shrimali, and Basant Dak graced the event with their presence.

The event featured vibrant cultural performances by students, and final-year students were given a warm farewell. The program was coordinated by Prakash Sundaram.
