Kshem General Insurance Launches Nationwide Campaign to Raise Awareness About Crop Insurance During Kharif Season

Kshem General Insurance Limited has launched a significant campaign to expand its reach across the country, aimed at raising awareness about crop insurance as the Kharif season begins. This comprehensive campaign is based on a TV commercial that will reach farmers as soon as the sowing starts with the onset of the monsoon. Supported by additional print, digital, and outdoor media campaigns, this initiative educates farmers on the importance of crop insurance as financial protection, especially when extreme climate events are becoming more frequent and severe.

The 30-second TV commercial, created by Kshem's in-house team, aims to establish a strong connection with farmers and ensure easy access to Kshem's innovative crop insurance plans, Sukriti and Prakriti. These products are available on Kshem's platform, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Any farmer or family member with an insurable income can purchase crop insurance, starting at Rs. 499 per acre. This insurance covers over 100 crops, combining protection from both major and minor disasters. To avail of this insurance, one needs to download the app, register, geo-tag their field, and pay the premium.

Commenting on the launch of the TV commercial, Bhaskar Thakur, Chief Marketing Officer of Kshem General Insurance Limited, said, "I am delighted that through this TV commercial, we are highlighting the utility of crop insurance in mitigating crop loss and income loss, and raising awareness among farmers. The commercial is based on the beautiful relationship between a father and daughter. We believe that the emotional bond depicted will resonate with farmers and effectively convey the importance of financial security. Children often ask simple yet profound questions that make us think deeply. This is why we chose this relationship to deliver the message of purchasing crop insurance, to reduce financial losses due to natural disasters."
