Udaipur, With a vision to uplift the social, educational, and economic status of the Muslim community in Udaipur, Seva Sansthan has formally launched its ambitious initiative Vision 2030. The campaign was inaugurated through the Mashwarat Conference held at Hotel Justa Inn in Savina, where prominent Muslim intellectuals, academicians, and government officials came together to share insights and commit to a collective goal.
The conference also featured motivational speakers and social activists invited from Mumbai and Ahmedabad, who encouraged Muslim youth to take active strides in education and employment.
Vision 2030: A Community-Centric Blueprint
Speaking at the event, Seva Sansthan’s General Secretary and former DFO, Mr. Layak Ali Khan, shared:
“Vision 2030 has been developed over the last four to five months in collaboration with various social organizations and community activists. The goal is to empower Udaipur’s Muslim community over the next five years through strong educational foundations, career guidance, and accessible employment opportunities.”
Inspiring Voices and Constructive Dialogues
President of AMP (Association of Muslim Professionals), Mr. Aamir Idrisi, emphasized:
“We must begin with underprivileged yet capable children. If we work with sincerity, Allah paves the way for us.”
Motivational speaker Mr. Irfan Mughal from Ahmedabad highlighted the importance of education and encouraged the youth to pursue entrepreneurship and modern skills.
Local Scholars Lead the Charge
Noted personalities from Udaipur also contributed their perspectives:
Mr. Furkan Khan, Director of North Zone Cultural Centre, shared strategies to mainstream the misguided youth and create employment pathways.
Dr. Wasim Khan, Managing Director of RNT College, Kapasan, underlined the collective potential of Zakat, stating:
“If the affluent in our community channel their Zakat towards education and employment for the youth, we can turn them from recipients into contributors.”
Dr. Hina Khan, Associate Professor at FMS, Vidyapeeth, expressed concern over the low participation of Muslim youth in higher education, saying:
“While primary enrollment is nearly 100%, only 4-5% make it to higher education. This gap demands serious introspection and action.”
A Strategic Beginning with a Bold Vision
President of Seva Sansthan, Mr. D.A. Khan, termed the conference as a highly successful first step towards Vision 2030.
“Around 250 participants from diverse sectors attended the event, all sharing a collective zeal to uplift the community.”
He affirmed that the organization will now work at the grassroots level with full commitment, focusing on education, skill development, career counseling, and job creation.
Mr. Layak Ali Khan concluded that Vision 2030 is not only an acknowledgment of the challenges faced by the community but also a well-planned effort to overcome them. With this initiative, it is hoped that Udaipur’s Muslim community will set new benchmarks in education, employment, and social development in the coming years.
