Udaipur | In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Udaipur—often hailed as the City of Lakes—will witness a Night Women Run under the empowering theme ‘Safe Woman, Safe Udaipur’. The event is being organised by Yashwant Foundation and Global Publication Udaipur to honour women’s leadership and safety in society.
The official poster for the event was unveiled at a private resort by notable women including Police Officer Chetna Bhati, Earth Skincare’s Deepa Singh, Yashwant Foundation’s Kanishka Shrimali, She Circle India’s Tarika Bhanupratap, and Dr. Sonu Jain. The announcement has generated enthusiastic buzz among women across the city.
The run is divided into two age groups: 15–35 years and 36–65 years.
Yashwant Foundation Director Kanishka Shrimali informed that the run will start from Mahakaleshwar Temple and will be flagged off by distinguished guests. The finish line will be at Rajiv Gandhi Garden, where top six participants from each group will be awarded. All runners will receive participation certificates.
Decathlon will sponsor the winner prizes, while Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, the official health partner, will provide t-shirts, an ambulance, and on-site medical support for participants.
Ravi Malhotra, Director of Global Publication, shared that the run will cover a distance of 2 kilometres. All participants will receive hygienic refreshments from Sanjeevani Natural Care. The event will be managed by Mewari Runners and Glory Events.
