Shri Eklingnath Seva Sangathan Adopts Another Girl, Launches Sewing Training Camp for Women

Udaipur,  Shri Eklingnath Rashtriya Seva Sangathan has adopted another girl as part of its commitment to girl child welfare. The adoption took place during the inauguration of a sewing training camp for women in Jodhpur.

At the event, the founding president of the Sangathan, Akash Bagdi, stated that the Sangathan’s core mission is Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter). He emphasized that wherever a girl needs help or protection, the Sangathan’s volunteers will be present and ready to assist. Bagdi expressed happiness that the spirit of service has begun to spread in Jodhpur, promoting harmony, and that women themselves are taking the lead in helping other women become self-reliant. A young girl named Pari was adopted at the event; she currently lives with her grandmother, who is elderly. The Sangathan will provide full support for her upbringing and education.

Bagdi also mentioned that on May 17, the Sangathan successfully conducted a free mass wedding ceremony, which generated significant enthusiasm across communities. The state president of the Sangathan, Deepak Menaria, provided details about various service activities carried out by the group.

It is noteworthy that inspired by the Sangathan’s service work in Udaipur, women in Jodhpur have now established a local branch. On Wednesday, under the Sangathan’s banner, a sewing training camp was inaugurated in Gujarwas, Jodhpur. In the second phase of the camp, around 250 women will receive training in sewing, beauty parlour skills, and henna application.

The district president of the Jodhpur branch, Santosh Rathore, stated that more courses will be introduced soon to further support women in becoming self-employed. Currently, there is great enthusiasm among women. Special guests at the event included Constables Sunita and Indira, along with Sarpanch Dhanaram.

Women volunteers including Nandini Shekhawat, District Secretary Rekha, Shobha, Jyoti, Rinku, and Rekha also guided and motivated the participating women during the program.
