Shri Chitragupt Sabha Observes ‘Prakatyotsav’ and Pays Tribute to Pahalgam Martyrs

The auspicious occasion of "Prakatyotsav" of Lord Chitragupt was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at the Sabha Bhawan by the Shri Chitragupt Sabha. Sabha President Bhuvaneshwar Mathur informed that on this special occasion, Lord Chitragupt was adorned with new garments and a grand Panchkundi Yajna followed by a Maha Aarti was organized.

During the yajna, special tributes were paid to the martyrs of the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack. Sixteen couples participated in offering ceremonial oblations in memory of the victims.

On this occasion, Sabha Vice Secretary Jagdish Narayan and Yogita Mathur honoured the advisory committee, nominated members, and the women’s wing by ceremonially presenting them with ‘Uparnas’ (shawls of respect). The women’s wing also conducted devotional singing and cultural performances, adding a spiritual and festive aura to the event.

The program was conducted by General Secretary Dinesh Mathur. Other dignitaries present included Arvind Mathur, Sunil Pancholi, Govind Mathur, and several prominent community members.

The celebration concluded with the offering of Maha Prasadi to Lord Chitragupt, followed by communal sharing of the divine meal by all attendees.
