Nathdwara, Rajasthan –The 'Statue of Belief' in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, has welcomed over 1.5 million visitors since its inauguration in November 2022. This 369-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva has quickly become a major spiritual and cultural landmark in India, attracting tourists from across the country.
The statue is one of the largest Lord Shiva statues in the world, covering an area of 32 acres with a total height of 112 meters (including a 34-meter base). Constructed using 2.5 lakh cubic tons of concrete, the statue is designed to withstand winds up to 250 km/h and remain stable in Seismic Zone IV. It features galleries at 270 and 280 feet connected by a glass walkway.
Visitors can perform jalabhishek at 351 feet and worship at ground level. Additionally, there are entertainment options such as a snow park, wax museum, game zone, go-karting, bungee jumping (185 feet), and zip-lining.
A new unique 3D experience called "Atmanthan" has been introduced at a height of 20 feet, featuring 17 different galleries inspired by elements of nature and mythological stories. These galleries offer transformative experiences, including explorations of the five elements and mythological inspirations like Samudra Manthan and Kalpavriksha. Attractions like 'Crystal Terrain', 'The Kinesis of Belief', 'Om Bell', 'Kailash Mansarovar', and 'Tunnel to Eternity' encourage self-reflection and interconnectedness.
"This achievement symbolizes the profound spiritual and cultural significance of this statue to people worldwide. Our country's strong spiritual roots not only provide visitors with unique and enriching experiences but also offer educational insights. At Miraj Group, we believe in giving back to society, and this is our effort to establish Nathdwara as a global spiritual destination," said Mr. Madan Paliwal, founder of Miraj Group.
