Grand National Event on ‘Samvad se Samadhan’ Based on the Teachings of Lord Mahavira

Mumbai : In today’s era marked by rising violence and global unrest, the timeless message of non-violence propounded by Lord Mahavira holds profound relevance. In this context, the Mahavirayatan Foundation, under the visionary leadership of revered Jain spiritual leader Swami Devendra Brahmachari, is organizing a grand national symposium titled ‘Samvad se Samadhan’ on 23 June 2025 at 2 PM at the prestigious Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium, Nariman Point, Mumbai.

This landmark event will be graced by Hon'ble Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla as the Chief Guest, and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis as the Special Guest. The program will witness the esteemed presence of dignitaries including Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Rahul Narvekar, Cabinet Minister Shri Mangalprabhat Lodha, and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Milind Deora, among others.

The event will draw participation from a diverse spectrum of society, including religious leaders, social reformers, academicians, industrialists, artists, non-violence activists, and media personalities, alongside devoted followers of Jainism from across the nation. Together, they will engage in meaningful discussions on the relevance of Lord Mahavira’s eternal principles such as ‘Live and Let Live’ and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (The world is one family).

Swami Devendra Brahmachari shared that this unique initiative aims to address the pressing national and global concerns such as war, terrorism, and violence, while also fostering dialogue on critical socio-humanitarian issues. The event will feature the screening of a thought-provoking documentary, seminars, and cultural performances, offering a holistic experience of spiritual awakening and social consciousness.

‘Samvad se Samadhan’ aspires to become a national platform for transformative dialogue, where saints, scholars, policy-makers, educators, and business leaders collectively seek sustainable solutions through the power of conversation. The core mission is to spread the values of compassion, non-violence, harmony, and ethics across India and the globe.

Swami Devendra Brahmachari, a dedicated Jain practitioner, social visionary, and spiritual thinker, has devoted his life to religious upliftment and humanitarian service. Through this multi-dimensional initiative, he envisions making Mahavira’s philosophy of non-violence a powerful tool to counter the prevailing atmosphere of fear and conflict.

Swamiji has extended a heartfelt invitation to all eminent saints, religious heads, social activists, entrepreneurs, and intellectuals to join this historic movement and contribute towards building a more peaceful and compassionate world.
