Udaipur. The formal announcement of NEXKNOS 2025 (Construction Expo & Knowledge Session) was made at the Swarn Jayanti Guest House auditorium of Mohanlal Sukhadia University. For the first time, the three vital pillars of the construction industry—designers, material suppliers, and builders—came together on a common platform. The event witnessed the presence of several esteemed experts and representatives from reputed organizations, including Dr. Avinash Panwar (Nodal Officer, College of Architecture, MLSU), Dinesh Kothari (Chairman, Udaipur Builders Association), Architect Sanjeev Gupte (Chairman, Indian Institute of Architects, Udaipur), Architect Venugopal Maduri (Chairman, IIID Udaipur), Engineer Purushottam Paliwal (Chairman, IEA Udaipur), and Interior Designer Meeta Raina (Patron, NEXKNOS). Alongside them, prominent architects, builders, and entrepreneurs from across the region also participated.
The event organizer and designer Kanchan Sharma shared that the journey of NEXKNOS began in 2018 right here in Udaipur. The upcoming eighth edition of this annual event will be held from December 19 to 21, 2025, at Shubh Kesar Garden, Udaipur. The three-day mega event will showcase exhibitions by leading national companies from the fields of building construction, interior decoration, and real estate.
Each year, NEXKNOS attracts close to 6,000 visitors from Udaipur and neighboring cities. In addition to the exhibition, a three-day national conference is also organized, which sees participation from around 125 architects, engineers, and interior designers from across India. A large number of professionals from Udaipur also engage with the event, bringing the total participant count to over 350, a number expected to grow significantly this year. Architect Apoorv Azmera described NEXKNOS as an innovative and collaborative platform that offers new opportunities and exposure to the local construction ecosystem.
This edition of NEXKNOS is being academically supported by the College of Architecture, Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Avinash Panwar highlighted that the concept of a multi-stream university was envisioned and executed by a former Vice-Chancellor, who firmly believed that professional fields such as architecture and engineering should be integrated within the university framework. It was under this visionary leadership that both streams were launched just five years ago, and they have already started to show promising results by fostering academic excellence and industry collaboration.
NEXKNOS 2025 thus stands as a powerful example of how academic innovation and industrial synergy can come together to strengthen the foundation of the regional construction sector and inspire the future of design and infrastructure.
