Mr. Anil Mishra Elected as Chairman of IIM-Udaipur Branch

The annual meeting of the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) - Udaipur Branch took place at Hotel Blue Feather. On this occasion, the new Executive Committee for the years 2023-2025 was elected. Mr. Anil Mishra, Senior General Manager (Commerce) at J.K. Tyre and Industries, was chosen as the Chairman of IIMM - Udaipur Branch. Ms. Priya Mogra and Dr. Manisha Agarwal were elected as National Councilors.

The election officer, Mr. R.C. Mehta, announced the election of Mr. Rajesh Jain as Vice Chairman, Mr. P.P. Bhattacharya as Honorary Secretary, and Mr. Anil Parikh as Honorary Treasurer. The announcement for the election of Mr. Nikhil Sharada, Mr. Mubarak Khan, and Ms. Pallavi Nahar to the positions of Executive Committee Members was made.

Secretary Ms. Hasina Chakkivala welcomed everyone and initiated the start of the annual meeting.

Chairman Mr. D.C. Jhanwar, in his welcome speech, presented a detailed account of various activities organized during his two-year tenure and expressed gratitude to the former Chairman and all the members for their support and guidance.

Secretary Ms. Hasina Chakkivala presented a report on the activities conducted in the previous year, highlighting the initiation of the Annual Procurement Award by IIMM Udaipur, the receipt of the Best Branch Education Activity Award, and the honoring of Ms. Priya Mogra with the "Outstanding Woman Achiever Award." She also mentioned the organized industrial exposure visits, panel discussions, webinars, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing members' knowledge.

Vice Chairman Mr. Rajesh Jain provided an overview of the academic programs conducted by IIMM and Honorary Treasurer Mr. Anupam Luhadia presented the annual financial report, which was approved by the assembly.

National Councilor Ms. Priya Mogra presented a proposal for the development of a software-based portal called "Dead Inventory Marketplace" to facilitate the disposal of dead inventory stock in companies and the creation of a website-based portal for procuring goods at the appropriate prices. The proposal was approved by the assembly.

Newly elected Chairman Mr. Anil Mishra expressed gratitude to all the newly elected members and expressed his commitment to taking IIMM-Udaipur Branch to new heights.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. P.P. Bhattacharya thanked all the members for their participation in the smooth conduct of the election and the election officer Mr. R.C. Mehta for completing the election process. He extended gratitude to everyone.
