Much awaited UIT Pulia opened Udaipur: Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria, Urban Development and local self , State Minister Shri chand Kripalani and Rural Development Minister of State Panchayati Raj Dhan Singh Rawat. Jointly unveiled the plaque and legalized the bridge conectin UIT with Chetak Circle.
Addressing the function organized on this occasion, the Home Minister, Mr. Kataria congratulated UIT officials for completion of Pulia work one month before the due date.
Shri Kataria said that UIT and the Municipal Corporation are working in harmony for the development of the city . He said that in last 15 days, for the development of Udaipur, the sanction of works of 35 crores for urban development ministry the city The city has got many important committees.
Shri Kataria said that in order to minimize the pressure of traffic in Udaipur, approval of 7 crore has been issued for the much-anticipated Thakur Chaurah railway under pass. Also efforts are being made for acceptance of other underpasses and over bridges.
Shri Kataria said that the Maharana Pratap Khel Gaion of Udaipur is in constant progress for organizing world class sports. The Multipurpose Indoor Stadium, which will cost Rs 27 crore here, will be unique across the nation.
The Home Minister said that obstacles arising due to the technical reasons of the work of Bird Park, constructed at a cost of 11 crores in Gulab bagh, have now been removed. This tender has been finalized and the work will start soon.
He said that overall efforts are being made to make a big pond in Udaipur favorable to various competitions under the Water Sports Academy. At the same time, various amenities and beautification works are also proposed to attract tourists.
Shri Kataria said that the approval of 1.60 crore has been approved for the development of Sajjangarh area, Chief Point of Udaipur. Along with this, it will be easier to reach there directly from main Udaipur city. The Flower Valley of 1.60 crores will be developed at old way of disembodied Chirwa Ghat with tourism in terms of traffic near the city.The Home Minister said that for the establishment of a science park in Udaipur, the central and state government has sanctioned Rs. 2.5 crore and the sanction of this amount will create a great science park.Shri Kataria said that due to the completion of Dewas first and second, drinking water problem of Udaipur and adjoining areas could be overcome. The government is also pursuing the plan to reach the water supply through the Mahis Tunnel and to reach Jaisamand's water to Rajsamand.
Shri Kataria said that after getting approval of 1500 crores for Udaipur Mavali Marwar rail line, new dimensions of industrial development of the area will be established. On the other hand, the installation of elevated road in the city, the Kishangarh-Ahmedabad 6-lane highway of 2500 crore, the Nimaja mata Ropeway, Ayad river beautification, Hemraj National Laboratory in the city, the development of other parking spots including the SIERT land at the Devali end, will give new direction to the development of the city.
At the function, Urban Development Minister Shrichand Kripalani said that with the leading thinking of ChiefMinister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, all the Municipal body areas of Rajasthan are heading towards becoming beautiful and smarter.
LED lights and other development works are continuing at a cost of 600 crores. All the municipalities are being added to the videoconferencing, while every needy person can get food at cheaper rate, Annapurna van is available in every city.
