Lake Arti and Adventure Sports will be the center of attraction Udaipur, Adventure sports with the Lake Aarti will be center of attraction in two-day lake festival to be held in the next 18 and 19 November in joint collaboration of District Administration, Municipal Corporation, UIT and State Tourism Department.
District collector Bishnucharan Mallik finalized the programs & reviewed preparations for the festival. He how ever directed that effort should be made for extensive publicity so that audience come &entertain the festive with good pitch The level of programs should be such that tourists plan to visit Udaipur to see it every year. For water sports competition, he instructed to ensure adequate security and other facilities.
On November 18, from 6 am to 8 pm, bird watching will be held in Fathsagar, Shramdan at 7 pm, 4 pm to 6 pm, adventure water sports and swimming competition will be taking place at 6 o'clock in the evening, from 7 pm on words , there will be presentations of local singer talents from different schools.
The next day, on November 19, from 6 am to 8 pm, bird watching in Fatahsagar, Shramdan on Fatahsagar at 7 pm, Adventure water sports and swimming competition from 4 pm to 6 pm, marathon run from 6 am to 8 pm and at 8 pm from Bollywood Famous singer performers or band performances will presented final decision regarding the program will be taken soon.
This year , as a innovation, the model of the ancient water harvesting system of the lakes of Udaipur will be witnessed
In the meeting, additional district collector (city) Subhash Chandra Sharma, CMD Devasi (administration), Municipal Commissioner Siddhartha Sihag, UIT's OSD O.P. Bunkar, Tourism Deputy Director Sumita Saroch and Sports Officer Lalit Singh Deol were also present.
