In the year 1977 the department of post of government of india issued thirty seven stamps. The first issue of the year was on International Film Festival of India followed by stamps on World conference on earthquake engineering , Tarun ram , Paramhansa Yoga nanda , Red cross confrence , Death of fakharuddin ali ahmed , 15 anniversary of asian oceanic postal union , Narottam moraraji , Makhan lal chaturvedi , Vallabhacharya , 50 anniversary of FICCI , World environment day and 25 anniversary of Rajyasabha . On July 01 a set of four stamps was issued on Indian flowers followed by stamps on Centenary of Sound recording , Ananda Kentish , Death anniversary of Ganga ram , International Homeopathic Congress , Ram manohar lohia , Inpex 77 , Asiana 77 , International pediatrics Congress , Kittur Rani Channamma , UPSC , Agriexpo 77 , National Children's Day , Indian personalities , Session of International Statistical Institute and Kamta Prasad Guru . The last issue of the year was on 60 anniversary of Great October Revolution .
