मानव उद्धार के रेडियो फीचर को राष्ट्रीय अवार्ड
आर्थिक संकट से जूझ रहे बुनकरों व मजदूरों के बच्चों को भी संस्था नि:शुल्क पढ़ाती है जिससे वह समाज की मुख्यधारा से जुड़ सकें। इन्हीं बच्चों के जीवन दर्द, सामाजिक व पारिवारिक स्थिति पर आकाशवाणी ने फीचर बनाकर श्रोताओं तक पहुंचाया। इस फीचर को ऑल इंडिया रेडियो ने राष्ट्रीय एवार्ड प्रदान किया है।
सूचना प्रसारण मंत्री अंबिका सोनी मंगलवार को मुंबई में आयोजित एक समारोह में फीचर की निर्माता व आकाशवाणी की कार्यक्रम अधिशासी मीनू खरे को सम्मानित करेंगी। इस प्रोड्यूसर ने भारत के लिए वर्ष 2011 में ब्रॉडकास्टिंग के क्षेत्र में ग्लोबल एवार्ड जीता है। इसके लिए भी समारोह की मुख्य अतिथि अंबिका सोनी, मीनू खरे को विशेष पुरस्कार प्रदान करेंगी। कार्यक्रम अधिशासी कहती हैं कि लल्लापुरा क्षेत्र की दलित बस्ती के बच्चे कूड़ा बीनते थे।
यह क्षेत्र गरीबों व बुनकर बाहुल्य है। इन बच्चों को विशाल भारत संस्थान ने शिक्षा देकर उनके जीवन में नई रोशनी भरने की कोशिश की है। फीचर में संस्थान के बच्चे ईली (9 वर्ष), ताजिम अली (11 वर्ष), चंदन (8 वर्ष), गुडि़या (7 वर्ष) आदि ने रेडियो साक्षात्कार में कहा कि सुबह जब आम बच्चे पढ़ने जाते थे तब वह कूड़ा बीनने निकलते थे। उनका भी मन करता था कि वह पढ़ाई करें। हर पल उनका शोषण होता था, लोगों की दुत्कार अलग। कबाड़ी भी बीने गए कागज, प्लास्टिक, लोहा, टिन का उचित मूल्य नहीं देते थे। एक-दो रुपये पकड़ा कर रद्दी रख लेते थे। संस्थान के प्रतिनिधि उनसे व परिजनों से कई बार मिले और पढ़ाई के लिए प्रेरित किया। अब वह पढ़ते भी हैं और माता-पिता के बुनकरी के काम में मदद भी करते हैं यथा धागे की रील बनाना, मशीन व बुनी गई साडि़यों की सफाई कराना आदि। अब इस श्रम के बदले जो पैसा उन बच्चों को मिलता है वह संस्थान के बाल बैंक में जमा करते हैं।
परिवार में जरूरत पड़ने पर अपने बैंक से लोन लेते हैं। इस बैंक का संचालन खुद बच्चे ही करते हैं। इसके दो फायदे हुए। बच्चों के माता-पिता कभी किसी से कर्ज नहीं लेते। इसके पहले माता-पिता के कर्ज के बदले बच्चों को मजदूरी करनी पड़ती थी। उनका उत्पीड़न भी किया जाता था। अब यह पूरी तरह बंद हो चुका है।
