Rajasthan-Qatar Partnership would cultivate shared strength

New Delhi, Meeting H.E. Mr. Sultan Bin Rashid Al-Khater, Under-secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Qatar, Chief Minister of Rajastha, Smt. Vasundhara Raje, mentioned that Rajasthan and Qatar could become strong partners of growth & good opportunities of collaboration exist given that both share similar climate and landscape type.

H.E. Mr. Sultan Rashid Al-Khater and Chief Minister, Smt. Raje, had an hour-long meeting in Jaipur on Thursday, in course of which the Chief Minister discussed how Rajasthan and Qatar could nurture mutual strength in the sectors of Energy, Agriculture, Tourism and Culture. Chief Minister also complimented on the good work carried out in Qatar for museums and how they have managed to nurture and showcase their culture & traditions at before the world.

The Chief Minister mentioned how Qatar as a forward looking country, has paced and progressed very fast, which is something that Rajasthan can look at and learn. She also invited Qatar to be a Partner Country for Resurgent Rajasthan event scheduled for November this year.

H.E. Mr. Sultan Rashid Al-Khater extended a warm invitation to the Chief Minister to visit the State of Qatar so that the discussion on areas of partnership and cooperation between Rajasthan and Qatar could be taken forward.
