MoU signed between MPUAT &HZL

MoU has been signed in the Vice Chancellor Secretariat between MPUAT Udaipur and Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Udaipur, under the component Technology and Engineering College (CTAE), Maharana Pratap Agriculture and Technology University. Vice Chancellor Prof. Umashankar Sharma, and CTAE Dean, Dr. S. S. Mr. Laxman Singh Shekhawat, Chief Operating Officer (Mining) and Dilip Patnaik, Head, HR, signed MoU from Rathod and Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur.
On this occasion, Hindustan Zinc Limited, Sanjay Sharma Head Strategy, HR Projects, L & U of Udaipur and Priyanka Jodhavat, Registrar of the University, Shri D.N. Purohit Director,. All the Heads of CTAE were also present.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharma told that CTAE College holds the first position after IIT and NIT in Rajasthan. The resources available in the college are not less than IIT. Students of this year are doing well in every field.
Vice Chancellor further said that Hindustan Zinc Limited offers 50 thousand scholarships to every student who gets high marks in the third year of each college. Pro. Sharma hoped that with the help of Hindustan Zinc Limited University in the coming time, he would cooperate in many areas.

On this occasion, Mr. Laxman Singh Shekhawat, Chief Operating Officer (Mining) of Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur said that Hindustan Zinc Limited is the world's leading company in the mining sector, which has business in many countries in the world. He said that considering the eligibility of CTAE students and the resources available in the college, Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur has done MoU for this five year but this MOU will continue for further.
Shri Shankawat further said that the university should prepare its course in accordance with the industries which can fulfill the needs of the industries in the present scenario. To strengthen the infrastructure, industries need subject experts so that there is no shortage of any kind in the finished goodsShri Shekhawat also said that the MoU will prove to be a boon for the mining sector to contribute to 7 per cent of the GDP. On this occasion, Shri Dilip Patnaik, Head, HR of Hindustan Zinc Limited said in his remarks that the all-round development of any technical institution can only be done when the institution contracts with the industry more and build courses accordingly. So that both the institute and the industry can develop together and the opportunities available to the students are available.

Dr. S. S., Rathod welcomed all the guests and said that the MoU between Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur and CTAU Udaipur has proved to be a milestone in the history of the university. The students of this day will get the best, exquisite training as well as world class exposure. In the end, CTEE Administrative Officer Dr. Deepakarma expressed gratitude to all the guests and thanked them.
