Tribute to Doyen of Hindi Poetry Gopaldas Neeraj

In order to pay special tribute to noted legendary lyrist, late Mr. Gopaldas Saxena Neeraj, a Padmashri, Padmabhushan Awardee, Sarvadharama Maitri Sangh, Udaipur organized a Condolence Meet in its premises. The Director of Maitri Sangh, Dr. Fr. Norbert Herman SVD began this meet with the song of late lyrist Neeraj. He expressed his love for music and poetry through his melodious voice. Invited guests and noted poets of the city were present on this prayer meet. Some of the poets presented the noted poet’s lyrics in their own way which was well presented and very appreciative. Two minutes silence was observed in respect of late Neeraj. Mr. Mustaq Changal conducted the prayer meet with his wit and whims and Fr. Norbert Herman SVD sponsored and at the end he proposed vote of thanks.
